Terms of Use

Last updated: May 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of spinzester (“the app”), a free iOS application that lets you browse community-radio playlists from spinitron.com and play tracks through your Apple Music subscription.

Acceptance

By installing or using spinzester you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

The service

spinzester is a presentation layer over public spinitron.com playlist pages, plus native iOS integrations with Apple Music (playback) and Qobuz (optional playlist save). The app is free, displays no advertising, and does not create an account for you. Features and availability may change as the app evolves.

Third-party services

spinzester relies on third-party services that have their own terms:

  • Apple Music — required for in-app playback. Use of Apple Music is governed by Apple’s media services terms. You need an active Apple Music subscription.
  • Spinitron — the source of playlist content. The app displays public spinitron.com pages in a web view; Spinitron’s site terms apply to that content.
  • Qobuz — optional. If you sign in to Qobuz through the app’s save-as feature, your use of Qobuz is governed by Qobuz’s terms.

spinzester is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spinitron, Apple, or Qobuz.

Your library belongs to you

The app does not create a spinzester account. Any playlists you save are written to your own Apple Music or Qobuz library — they belong to you and are governed by those services’ terms. spinzester does not retain a copy.

Acceptable use

Use the app for personal, non-commercial listening. Don’t use the app to scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit Spinitron’s data. Don’t attempt to reverse-engineer the app except as permitted by applicable law.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability of community-radio playlist data, third-party services, or any specific feature. Track matching across services is best-effort and may be imperfect.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including loss of data, loss of access to third-party services, or inability to play a particular track.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
